Online Creative Writing Courses

The Writing Sparks Story...

Writing Sparks online creative writing courses combine my two passions – writing and teaching.

I am the author of two novels, Hello, Goodbye (2017) and Small Blessings (2019), both with Allen & Unwin. I also facilitate community non-fiction and creative writing workshops for people of all ages and abilities.

Building community through writing and education is at the heart of what I do. Writing unlocks the imagination and promotes empathy, while good teaching encourages writers to fully express themselves.

Writing Sparks centres on community and writing education through online creative writing courses, mentorships and manuscript assessments that are varied, accessible and personalised. Writing forums and workshop groups are also available to all members.
