The Olga Masters Short Story Award is open until July 10, 2020.
Open to writers resident in Australia. Theme: Life in rural Australia
Submit short stories, 2,000-4,000 words. Entry Fee: $25
Prize: First: $1,500, Runner-up: $500. The first-prize winning story will be published in Island magazine. All winning story/ies will be published on the OMSSA website.
There’s also a Youth Prize, for 18 years and under. The prizes for 13-18 year olds are: $500 and $250, First prize for 12 and under is a creative writing tutorial with JD Shaw.
